The rain the night before threatened to stop this shoot from happening, but we went for it anyway, just chose a new location. And, as fortune and fate would have it, hit the jackpot- who knew downtown Greeley could be so charming? There, I just used the words “Greeley” and “charming” in the same sentence. I had a great time shooting these guys, I barely had to do anything, they just pretty much look good on their own. And I have serious hair envy of “Momma B”. Serious. Beautiful family, thanks for thinkin’ of me!!

Nature is beautiful.
And very cooperative. I didn’t have to say a word and everything just shines, natural smile and everything. Well, at least on me.

The kids took an extra long nap today so I edited some of these from this morning’s shoot. This little boy’s mother is one of my most favoritist people in the world. We were lucky enough to get roomed together freshman year of college and have been soul mates ever since. A year and a half ago we were also lucky enough to be pregnant together and each had a bouncing baby boy a week apart. We’re hoping they will be soulmates too someday, although the prospect of a move for a new job on the H family’s part may put a bug in that plan for a while. In any case, we had a wonderful time this morning over at Poudre Park and P.H. was so good the whole time! He conked out in his car seat in the two minute drive back to my house, so we’re glad he made it as long as he did. These pictures don’t do it justice, but he has the most beautiful blue eyes in the world- which was inevitable considering his parents’ eyes. I’m glad I got to gaze at them for a while today.
Love you all!

Can I just say that I love this woman? I had such a blast over at her house! And boy did I get a “repaint my house” bug something fierce after seeing what AWESOME colors she had in her beautiful home! Anyway, I loved laughing with her over everything and she was just willing to do whatever I asked her to do. It’s a good thing we did these when we did because about three days later she went into labor and had her baby! I have yet to meet the darling one yet, but soon, cause I gotta drop these off sometime!

A comfortable Love. That’s the best kind in the whole wide world! Thanks for letting me be a part of it for an hour and a half. ![]()

A recent shoot I did with one of the cutest babies I know (aside from mine). She was absolutely perfect the whole time and made my job really easy. And kudos to her mom who came up with most of the ideas herself, and they turned out great! Can’t wait to go back one of these days and do more!

My unique and absolutely creative sister. Most of these shots she came up with the idea and I just held up the camera and pushed the button. Beautiful on the inside and out.

And the surprise shot…

She really wanted to do this face for the last shot, and I said okay. Now it’s on the internet.
And no, that’s not a dingo in the background.

I’m finally getting a little used to my camera. Since it’s Saturday, I got to actually be around when the light comes through our windows very nicely. Linus was a trooper and had a blast with the mirror in our very very blue bathroom.

This is a test blog.
